PTFE Sheet: the Full name is Polytetrafluoroethylene Sheet, And Other names PTFE Sheet, Virgin PTFE sheet, PTFE Plate, PTFE Sheet, PTFE Board, Thin PTFE Sheet, PTFE Films, Skived PTFE Sheet, Molded PTFE Plate, Etched PTFE Sheet, New Material PTFE Sheet, Glass Filled PTFE Sheet, Graphite Filled PTFE Sheet, PTFE Sheet had Special performance Compared with other plastic. For example, such as Never aging, Colleagues of high and low temperature resistance, PTFE Sheet except molten alkali metals, PTFE Sheet almost without any chemical reagent. and etc. In the fluorocarbon & plastic, ptfe Sheet Won the reputation of plastic king.
Beluns PTFE Sheet : Non-Sticky Property PTFE Sheet, Heat Resistance PTFE Sheets, No Distortion & Low Friction PTFE Sheeting, Excellent Chemical Resistance PTFE Plate, Low Friction Coefficient PTFE Plates, Good Chemical Resistance PTFE Sheet, Aging resistance PTFE Sheet, Non-Flammable PTFE Sheets, Chemical Resisting PTFE Material Sheet, Weldable Skived PTFE Sheet, Lower deformation under load PTFE Plastic Sheet, Higher dielectric strength PTFE Plates, Higher elongation at break PTFE Sheets, Greater compressive strength PTFE Plate, Superior creep resistance PTFE Plastic Plates, corrosion resistance Virgin PTFE Material Sheet, For Seals And Gaskets PTFE Sheet, Electrical , Chemical Industry PTFE Sheet, lined materials PTFE Gasket Sheet, PTFE sheet and tape can be given an etched surface suitable for adhesive bonding.
PTFE Sheet by skived ptfe, molded ptfe and filled ptfe. Skived ptfe sheet thickness from 0.1mm to 8mm. Molded ptfe sheet from 3mm to 100mm. Filled ptfe sheet ( Filled Graphite, Filled Fiber Glass, Filled Carbon ). thickness from 1mm to 100mm. We have Food Grade PTFE Sheet and Machine Grade PTFE Sheet. PTFE Sheets are found in different thickness, ranging from 0.1mm up to 100mm. They are used because of their low friction sideways and wear blocks. Ptfe Molded Sheets provide very low resistance with mating components to offer a free running sideway surface requiring minimal momentum to move products or components.
PTFE Sheet is often chosen for very low friction sideways and wears blocks. PTFE Sheet can provide very low resistance with mating components to offer a free running sideway surface requiring minimal momentum to move products or components. PTFE Sheet is also used in lining of cryogenic chambers due to its excellent and rare ability with very low temperatures. Other applications include shims or gaskets for external use; this is because PTFE Sheet is highly resistant to weathering and any environmental long term effects.
PTFE Sheets are available in two form Molded & Skived. Molded Sheets are commonly known as Rigid Sheets and Skived sheets are known as flexible or thin sheets.
PTFE - an acronym for Polytetrafluoroethylene - is a high molecular weight polymer, one of the most versatile plastic materials known and useful for a large range of products for applications excluded to other materials. PTFE has extremely low coefficient of friction. PTFE is generally considered a thermoplastic polymer; at 327°C it maintains a very high viscosity, thus requiring particular transformation techniques for manufacturing of finished and semi-finished goods. PTFE can be employed at any temperature from -200°C to +260°C.
and its advanced properties make it an ideal choice of material for a wide range of applications - particularly those requiring high temperature, chemical resistance and excellent slip-stick performance. PTFE has advanced properties making it an ideal choice of material for a wide range of applications. PTFE rod, PTFE sheet and PTFE tube is particularly useful where high temperature or excellent chemical resistance is required. With its low coefficient of friction PTFE also exhibits excellent slip-stick performance.
PTFE is reinforced with 25% glass fibres. The added glass fibre improves the wear properties and, to a minor degree, also the deformation strength under load while leaving substantially unchanged the electrical and chemical characteristics. However, it is important to remember that glass, has a rather poor resistance against alkalis and is easily attacked by hydrofluoric acid. The coefficient of friction is also slightly increased.
25% carbon is added to the PTFE, along with a small percentage of graphite. The carbon tends to improve - to a considerable degree - wear and deformation strength, whilst leaving the chemical resistance practically unchanged, but substantially modifying the electrical properties.
PTFE, because of the properties previously described, is used in many applications. Properties can be improved and/or modified by adding suitable fillers. The fillers most commonly used, in concentrations to suit application, are: Glass fibre, Carbon fibre, Bronze, Graphite, Molybdenum disulphide (MoS2), Metal powders, Ceramics, Metal oxides, and can also be produced using mixtures of two or more additives.
PTFE Sheet is generally available in sheet sizes of 300²mm, 400²mm, 450²mm, 600²mm,1000²mm, 1200²mm, and 1500²mm and in thickness ranging from 0.1mm upto a usual maximum of 100mm with many interspaced range of sizes to suit customers requirements. Skived or Flexible PTFE Sheet is generally available in Roll form from 300mm, 450mm, 500mm, 600mm,1000mm, 1200mm, & 1500mm, 2000mm, in width and in thickness ranging from 0.1mm to up 8mm
PTFE Sheet is often used in the food preparation industry due to its food contact suitability and its very high operating temperatures meaning that the PTFE will be happy to continue along with the product and any product or contamination will not be allowed to stick.
PTFE Sheet is also highly successful when it comes to cryogenics, just as PTFE is comfortable at very high temperatures, PTFE is also very happy at extremely low temperatures. PTFE Sheet is also becoming popular in the building industry and is being specified by modern architects due to its substantial ability to withstand weathering and its environmental resistance.
PTFE Sheet is often used in wear strips and slide ways within all types of engineering to take advantage of a stunning co-efficient of friction to guide high performance components a highly wear resistant and super sliding advantage to help reduce costs and improve component life.
PTFE Sheet is an engineering plastic that is also used in valve parts because it has the ability to conform to the shape of a mating or sealing, opposing component allowing PTFE to give a low friction long lasting valve seal that is heat and acid resistant.
PTFE Sheet is a specially important engineering plastic because of its outstanding lack of friction and slippiness, this is so incredibly low that is has been described as being the most slippy solid material known to man and PTFE Sheet can be cut into strips and can offer a massive improvement in the sliding components. PTFE is also highly specified due to its very high temperature resistance allowing components to withstand almost double that of other types of engineering plastic. PTFE Sheet has the capability to also withstand very strong acids and chemicals helping to provide solutions to acid storage and chemical problems. High electrical resistance is yet another feature of PTFE Sheet and PTFE is often used in high end electrical resistance appliances.
